I am officially a resident of South Carolina! Well, I haven't gotten my license or license plates changed yet but I am living here now! Moving was a lot harder than I thought and I got a job on top of it. I am doing the thrilling job of waiting tables for tons and tons of Charleston tourists. But, making money feels great!!! I almost feel as if the name of my blog is almost outdated now, since I am no longer living in the North... but someone once told me "you can take the girl out of Jersey but you cannot take the Jersey out of the girl." For that reason, I will always be Northern :) For my first couple days down south I spent time with my boyfriend in Hilton Head for his 21st birthday, which was tons of fun! I also did outdoorsy things like kayak.. who knew I had that in me?? I surely did not. The boyfriend said I did a good job paddling but I know he just said that to make me feel better because I don't think I helped at all. Now that all the hustle and bustle (sp?) of moving is over I feel like my life this summer is going to be super boring. I will spend my days working and studying with the occasional trip down to see the boy. Surprisingly, I will enjoy this summer though because it is free from real classes and the drama that surrounded my life in Clemson.
Since starting this summer I have reflected a lot on my life the past year. More and more I think about how I only have one year left of college (uhh where does the time go?) and I think about how I need to apply to dental school. The more I think about it, I don't want to ever grow up. I blame this on the fact that I have a nine year old sister, she keeps me young!! Anyways, my boring life leads me to StumbleUpon where I found this gem of a website: http://things90skidsrealize.com/ Seriously, this is great. It is crazy to think how so many things were "so 90s" and how I was apart of that generation. Now I could go on and on about the great posts on this website then talk about how cool Pogs were but I think everyone gets the point. To sum it up, the 90s TV, games, food, etc were about as good as it gets. All this 90s talk makes me want to watch Rocket Power.. now only if Nick at Nite would play all these shows like they have been talking about for years. Well, I hope all of my readers check out that website because it is sure to please!
xoxo, A
